| Is it possible to use tank dividers if I want to keep another Tarantula or two in with my male Chilean Rose? We have a spare 40-gallon tank, so I don't know if I can use something like that? I've read there's pros/cons of using tank dividers & if the Tarantulas see each other thru the glass for example, they may get stressed out & want to fight & /or attempt to get through the dividers onto the other side. Maybe my best bet's to just to get 1 or 2 10-gallon tanks to house the 1 or 2 t's I'd like to get separately, just like how I have my Chilean Rose Hair in by himself. Also, do you know of any magazines about Tarantulas in general that I can buy to read? I swore when I was in a pet store a long time ago, I saw a magazine about Tarantulas or something. I know there's books about Tarantulas that I already have and the American Tarantula Society too that you can join. | |

| Well als my spiders "see" eaxch other in terms of they are almost blind. So yes you can use tank dividers since spider can only disdinguish between bright and dark. With literature, well it is kinda hard to find good books or magazines. I get all my stuff from Austria and Germany written in german. I am sorry but with that I am at a loss. The ATS is a good resource, I am a member and a member of honor at the Austrian Tarantula Society. What I do to keep up is gather knowledge from the German and the Austrian Societies. Also the best tarantula researcher Klaas prints his books only in german wich is realy sad. His Books are one of the best. Unfortunally most of the "good" books are written in german, but there probably some good magazines out there. Try google. | |
